New Beginnings Addiction Center is a referral and placement resource for inpatient addiction treatment. It is NOT a licensed treatment facility, detox center, or healthcare provider. Phone calls to (213) 600-5512 are answered by placement advisors who verify insurance and connect callers with licensed inpatient programs across Los Angeles and Southern California. We do not deliver clinical care. We do not diagnose. We do not prescribe. What we do is get callers from the first phone call to an appropriate, licensed, in-network residential program as quickly as possible — usually within 24 to 72 hours.

Our Mission

Navigating addiction treatment is complicated enough when you're clear-headed. It's nearly impossible when you're in crisis, when a family member is the one in crisis, or when an insurance company is using every tool available to delay care. New Beginnings Addiction Center exists to remove that friction. Placement is free to the caller because the licensed programs we refer to compensate the referral relationship — which means no pressure, no sales pitch, and no fee ever billed to the caller or family. The mission is simple: connect the right caller to the right licensed program as quickly as the caller's insurance and clinical needs allow.

Our Placement Advisors

The placement team at New Beginnings Addiction Center is built around admissions experience rather than clinical licensure — and that distinction matters. Placement advisors hold credentials appropriate to admissions coordination and insurance verification, such as CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) at various levels, CCJP (Certified Criminal Justice Professional), and peer-support certifications. Many have lived experience with addiction and recovery. Placement advisors do NOT diagnose, do NOT deliver therapy, and do NOT provide medical advice. What they do, every day, is run insurance verifications, match clinical presentations to appropriate licensed programs in our network, and coordinate admissions. When a caller needs medical advice, placement advisors route them to the clinical staff at the licensed treating facility, to the caller's primary care physician, or to 988 or 911.

How Placement Works in Three Steps

Step 1 — Call (213) 600-5512. A placement advisor takes a confidential intake: substance, duration of use, medical history, co-occurring mental health conditions, insurance carrier, geographic preference within LA County. This conversation takes 10–20 minutes. Step 2 — Insurance verification. The advisor calls your insurer's behavioral health line and confirms coverage, in-network status, and estimated out-of-pocket for a 30-day stay. This takes 15–60 minutes. Step 3 — Match and placement. The advisor presents 2–3 licensed inpatient programs in our network that fit clinical need, insurance coverage, and geographic preference. Once the caller selects one, the advisor coordinates admission directly with that program's admissions team. The caller then speaks with the licensed facility to confirm details, scheduling, and any pre-admission logistics.
